Ganondagan National Historic Site

February 22, 2020

The culture of Gonandagon and the Haudenosaunee were brought to life through the activities and museum of Ganondagan. The Winter Games is very important as Haudenosaunee get to show off how they live in the winter and how connected all of their culture and rituals are to their ways of life and the lives of people who are not Native Americans. Scroll to see more of the events that took place!

They had to come up with a culture to thrive in it. That is the marvelous capacity of our species to survive.

When better and safe, I hope to be back on stage telling stories with the same vigor and excitement as always. Until then, everyone please stay safe and continue to take care of each other.
And don't forget to wash your hands.

PROJECT
AWARENESS

Our goal is to capture the beauty of the Modern Native American people and to tell the stories of the historic cultural traditions of the Haudenosaunee and experience them with you. Haudenosaunee have much that is precious to them. We, at the beginning of this project, weren't aware of the Native American's history and present; we had no clue of what had and is actually happening; the full truth. I didn’t know the truth, and if I was that clueless, I can't help but wonder how many others are clueless of the beauties that dwell among the Haudenosaunee in their past and their present.
