Monday. March 2. 1700 hrs.
Nearly spaced out Paige’s spur-of-the-moment opportunity: Dr. Richard, the man presenting the wampum at the Winter Games, will be a guest at her class tonight to give a detailed history of the wampum. Paige got permission to record the whole presentation for Dr. Zinni, and I was allowed to tag along. After helping Paige get the camera set up correctly, she took the helm and got some outstanding footage of Dr. Richard.
Once the presentation was finished, Dr. Zinni informed us that an interview with Peter Gemison is now in the works, and will hopefully have a time slot established before spring break, just two weeks away. The ball is now starting to roll.
