Reflection on Presentation Ian's Take

Monday. March 9. 1530 hrs.

Presentation day. The first group went and shown their project, and was consequentially bombarded with questions from the class about the actual state of their work. That made me a bit nervous, as I feared Paige and I had not done nearly enough. But once I got the short on screen, the class became enthralled with what we had. Paige did most of the talking (not a problem to me, since she actually knows more about the subject matter than I ever could), and the website looked pretty good on the big screen. The only problem with the short is that the audio was a bit quiet. I wanted to make it louder, but I didn’t figure out how to adjust the room’s speakers in time (turns out the computer’s volume was down to about 25%, so it would’ve been muted regardless of the connected speaker’s volume). Carvin was impressed with what we had, and hoped the final film will reflect well from what the short teased. I assured him that will absolutely be the case.
