Early April (1), 2020.
I have not set foot off my property since the end of Spring Break. The days have officially started the run together. I am losing track of time, so bear with me.
We have reached a point where the long-term effect of the pandemic can be measured through modeling. The current estimates are grim: 200,000 dead, tens of millions infected. Mortality rate is somewhere near 2%, and this is just in the U.S.. COVID-19 is blooming all over the planet, with Italy and Spain getting hammered by it hardest. It is becoming tougher to watch the news now because every day something new comes about to make things worse. And here is the craziest thing: China, the Communist state with Draconian suppression of movement for its people and bottom-of-the-barrel healthcare, has claimed they stopped the spread of the infection in Wuhan, capping out at less than 90,000 infected a few thousand dead.
I don’t believe it for a second.
