Time flies... not

Mid-April (1), 2020.

The airline industry is hit harder than anyone else, arguably. Less than 10% of flights that should be in the air are actually flying. Everything else is grounded. Pilots around the planet are forced into early retirement, something that cannot be exited easily. And tens of thousands of passenger jets are parked for storage at airports around the planet. It is haunting to see so many planes just sitting on runways, lined up nose to tail because they ran out of places to store them.

Monroe county will absolutely have a slower infection wave relative to the rest of the state. We are at only a couple hundred infections and a dozen deaths or so, most of which are people in their 70’s. No official demographic information has been released. But on the bright side is that stores are now adjusting to the demand for products, something that really choked during the first few weeks of the pandemic.

It’s getting hard to breathe in this house.
